Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology projects from initiation through successful delivery. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities, a solid understanding of software development processes, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams, clients, and business stakeholders.
This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and seamless stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver technical projects from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track project progress, identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), and follow up on action items.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Support sprint planning, backlog prioritization, resource allocation, and project reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or Project Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience managing Agile, Scrum, or Kanban-based software development teams.
- Good technical understanding of:
- Web and Mobile Application Development
- REST APIs and System Integrations
- Microservices Architecture
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP – conceptual understanding is sufficient)
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong planning, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Good to Have
- Experience working with Headless Architecture, eCommerce platforms, SaaS products, or Enterprise Applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment processes.
- Experience in client-facing, consulting, or digital transformation projects.
- Exposure retail, commerce, or enterprise technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile, or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Prior experience working in the Middle East region will be an added advantage.
